It's time for an Upgrade

Since its release in 2010, the iPad has always been a venue for entertainment, with movies, books and music a swipe away. In fact, two-thirds of all mobile shoppers are using iPads instead of desktops or mobile phones. And when they do, they’re spending more: iPad shoppers averaged $52.66 per item, double that of both desktop users ($21.86 per item) and other mobile users ($23.80).

So what does it mean for your company? Simply put, if you don’t have a shopping experience that is tailored to the iPad—and that can hop between mobile platforms seamlessly—you will most definitely be left behind.

The iPad is no longer a fad for the tech-obsessed elite. It is the new powerhouse system that is driving the online economy. iPad optimized websites are an absolute necessity, which means that if your current website is based in Flash, it’s running on yesterday’s bells and whistles.
